Les Chataigniers Farmhouse

Thank you for such an enjoyable and relaxing stay. You could not have been more helpful or thoughtful, especially when we came home tired after a long day to see the fire lit! Your facilities are great for young and old alike and your knowledge of the area was most helpful. Hope to be back again!

Les Chataigniers is worth the 1080 km drive from Belgium!  Our kids ranked your house highest of all other houses we have stayed in – and we agreed with that. You have been lovely hosts.

Thanks for such a wonderful stay – we couldn’t have asked for more. The weather was perfect, the days by the pool were bliss and our days out most enjoyable. Many thanks for being so accommodating and helpful, and for booking the horse riding and our wonderful meal at Belcastel. Our only gripe is that we didn’t come for longer, but that gives us a good excuse to come back!

What a lovely stay. The pool is brilliant, the house beautiful, peaceful and a real escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We will never forget it.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting, and best view from a pool I’ve ever had.  We loved exploring the fantastic countryside – then heading back to the pool!

We have had a fabulous time here. We were lucky enough – in October! – to have a hot spell so were able to make good use of the pool and the gardens. We have picked sprouts, cabbage, tomatoes, aubergines, raspberries and figs and foraged for mushrooms and chestnuts. We will be recommending this place to everyone we know.
